A.H. Heisey & Company of Newark, Ohio, first introduced the "Orchid" etched pattern in 1940 and it continued in production until the Heisey Company closed in 1957. During this time the "Orchid" pattern became Heisey's most popular etching.
This lovely, as well as scarce, "Orchid" pattern vase is etched on a Lariat blank. It measures 7 1/4" in height, 4 1/4" across the base and 4 3/8" across the top. Clearly marked with the "H" within a diamond on the base. There are no cracks, chips, discoloration or repairs. A wonderful addition for your Heisey collection.
