Hand painted china is beautiful and unique as it portrays the artists emotions and visions for the subject he or she is creating. This "Wild Roses" floral cabinet plate, circa 1900, was created a very talented artist with great attention to detail and subject naturalism.

The plate is ablaze with gorgeous shaded pastel pink wild rose blossoms and buds nestled among shaded green and tan foliage. The background is a combination of soft green, pink and blue with darker rust and brown.

The gently scalloped plate measures 8 1/2" across with gold trim. The white ware blank stamped "J & C Louise Bavaria". The plate is artist signed and dated "S.E Briggs 1907" with no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint.
