Cast Iron Arcade Buster Brown & Tige "Good Luck" Horse Bank - image 1 of 11

The Arcade Toy Company, Freeport, Illinois, manufactured this cast iron still bank, circa 1908-1932. The bank depicts a full bodied black horse with a gold painted horse shoe that encircles the entire horse. Attached near the center of the horseshoe is a bust of Buster Brown (Buster Brown Shoes) and at the base of the shoe is Tige his trusted dog companion, both painted gold. A small horse shoe on the side of the horse is embossed "Good Luck". The bank is featured in the reference book by Andy and Sue Moore.

The bank measures 4 1/4" in height and 4 3/4" in length with all original paint and no condition issues. The paint shows even wear from age, which on a scale of 1 to 10, should be at least 7.5-8.5. There are several tiny faded white paint splatters received during it's life time. Great cross-over collectible for Arcade items, still banks, horse memorabilia or Buster Brown & Tige collectors.
