A.H.Heisey & Co. was founded in 1895 in Newark, Ohio. From the inception of the company, Heisey glassware was often advertised to be the finest crystal in America made by hand. The "Coarse Rib" pattern #406 was patented in 1925 and continued in production until the mid-1930's. The bottoms are ground with a rayed star center and marked with the "H" within a diamond on the top side of the plate. This set of 4 pink plates are 7 1/4" across. There are no cracks, chips, nicks or repairs to this set.
