Franz Detleff Goebel and his son William founded the F & W Goebel Company in 1871, located in Rodental, Germany.

This lovely Goebel Hummel 1974 annual plate, "Goose Girl", is hand painted in bas relief and measures 7 1/2" across. Marked on the back "W. Goebel-Porzellanfabrik - Hand Painted - M.J.Hummel 4th Annual Plate 1974 - Rodental - West Germany - Hum 267" with TMK5 mark. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint in original box with accompanying papers.
