T & R Boote Company, Burslem, Staffordshire, England was in existed from 1842 - 1906.

This lovely ironstone brown transfer-ware large size platter is the "Burmah" pattern, circa 1883. The aesthetic movement design consists of a variety of flowers, leaves, garlands and geometric forms. The platter measures 16" in length and 12" in width. Stamped with the "Burmah - Royal Arms Insignia - Royal Premium - T & R Boote - England" and English Register Number 51430 indicating circa 1883. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Great brown transfer-ware pattern.
