The Cataract Sharpe Manufacturing Company of New York made no glass but were a cutting operation purchasing blanks for Libbey Glass and Bryce Brothers Glass during the 1930's thru mid-1940's. Libbey acquired Sharpe in 1947 and the cut crystal patterns were continued through the 1950's.
This lovely set of 6 cut crystal water goblets are listed as the fuchsia pattern, stem #2008. The stem has distinct individual rings and ringed knob near the top with a tapered notched lower portion. The bowl is fully decorated with a cut fuchsia floral and leaf motif. The goblet measures 8" in height, 3 3/8" across the top and 2 7/8" across the base. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint. There are other items of this pattern in my store. Also have two extra goblets, if interested.
