The Wincraft line of Roseville pottery was introduced in the beginning of 1948. The line was credited to the company president of that era, Robert Windisch. In fact he suggested and even inspired some of the designs. Free flowing Art Deco shapes were embossed with flowers or animals on bright high gloss colors of azure blue, chartreuse and apricot with a darker shade around the bottom. Over 50 styles were created for the Wincraft line. Many of the shapes were borrowed from earlier lines with a little update.
