Victor Primavera Sr., founded the Danecraft company, Providence, Rhode Island, in the 1940's. Danecraft is known for producing quality sterling silver and vermeil (gold metal over sterling) jewelry with designs similar to the Scandinavian silver jewelry and often inspired by nature. It is said, that the Danecraft sterling silver jewelry produced, was some of the best manufactured in terms of quality of design and craftsmanship the industry had to offer during post-war decades.

This lovely 3-dimensional, Elephant Ear Plant, brooch and screw-back earrings set, circa 1950's, has a clean, modern appearance. Each of the leaves have well defined, natural veins and lines. The brooch measures 2 1/4" in length, 1" in width and has a safety clasp mechanism. Stamped "Sterling". The earrings measure 1" in length, 3/4" in width and are stamped "Danecraft - Sterling" on the screw mechanism. There are no damages; nice patina.
