Cameos come in many sizes, materials and images and have been a standard jewelry item for every lady's collection. This lovely cameo brooch, circa 1900, portrays the profile image of a young lady in white against a butterscotch background, bezel mounted in the center of a beautiful wire filigree designed finding. The brooch measures 1 1/2" in length and 1" in width through the center. Stamped "800" on the "C" clasp designating European silver, sometimes referred to as Continental silver, probably German or Italy origin. Wonderful vintage condition with no damages; nice aged patina.
