The Castlecliff Company was founded in 1918 by Clifford Burst and Joseph Bobley. The Castlecliff mark was first used in 1941. The advertising slogan was "the talked about jewelry" At some point in the late 1970's, Castlecliff became part of Carnegie Industries, Inc.

This stunning Castlecliff necklace, circa 1950's, consists of a single string of graduated size lucite beads in rootbeer shades from light to dark. The necklace measures a comfortable 15" in length and has a round, gold-tone, box clasp which is stamped "Castlecliff". Great vintage condition with no issues.
