This darling partial set of Japanese China children's dishes consist of 13 pieces; tea pot w/lid, sugar w/lid, creamer, 2 individual dessert plates, 4 cups and 2 saucers. Each piece is decorated with colorful blossoms of dark blue, orange and yellow, within delicate black outlined squares, against a background of an orange/copper iridescent color found during the 1920/1930 era on Japanese wares.
The tea pot measures 3" in height, the sugar 1 7/8" and creamer 1 1/2"; the dessert plates are 3 3/8" across, the cups 1 3/4" and saucers 2 1/2". Each piece is marked "Japan". There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Great design.
