Hand painted china is beautiful and unique as it portrays the artists emotions and visions for the subject he or she is creating. This beautiful hand painted sugar shaker/muffineer, circa 1910, was created in a small home studio or professional studio environment by a very talented individual with great attention to detail and subject naturalism.
The motif is beautiful pink wild rose blossoms nestled among shaded green leaves against the white porcelain blank. The slight domed top is gold encrusted as well as a band connecting the clusters of roses surrounding the shaker. The sugar shaker/muffineer measures 4 3/4" in height, unmarked as to maker and signed on the base by the artist "Roberts". There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint
