The Freiherr von Poschinger Glass Works has stood for skilled craftsmanship and superlative quality in glass over four and a half centuries. Located within Bavaria, Germany, they have been in business since 1568 and has been continuously owned and operated by the family of Baron von Poschinger, Europe’s premium manufacturers of custom and specialty glass. Most of the commonly seen art glass made by von Poschinger dates from the 1880 to 1915 jugendstil period.

The opaque soft tan or beige glass vases have a satin finish and are hand painted with wedgwood blue flowers, light olive to medium green foliage, yellow grasses, gold detailing and a rich brown band at the top and base of the vases. The vases measure 12 1/4" in height, 2 1/2" across the base and 1 3/4" across the top. Each are marked with the conjoined PK monogram and number "10" or "23". The thickness of the glass varies at the top. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint and gorgeous.
