Roseville Juvenile creamware was originally introduced by Roseville Pottery around 1910. The pattern features bowls, plates, cups, mugs, pitchers, etc decorated with ducks, pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, sunbonnet girls and more. The Roseville Juvenile pattern was often unmarked but later examples from around 1924 are marked with Rv ink stamp. Juvenile was a very popular Roseville pattern and was produced by the factory for more than twenty years.
This is a wonderful baby mug decorated with medium green band, black outlines and two darling medium brown sitting rabbits. The mug measures 3 3/8" in height, 3" across the top and is marked in black "RV" and "1". There are several condition issues: a U-shaped hairline along the rim and extending down the exterior and a shallow chip on the underside edge (see photos). Priced according.
