The Tiffin Glass Company was founded in 1889 by A.J. Beatty in Tiffin, Ohio. Tiffin glass was billed as "America's Prestige Crystal" and was advertised as being "within reach of the limited budget". At one time the output of Tiffin was double that of A.H. Heisey and Cambridge. Production ceased in 1983.

This lovely set of 2 "Watermelon Glass" sherbets are circa 1920's-1930's. The watermelon pink, diamond optic bowl sits atop a green, ringed knob stem with round base. The sherbets measures 4 3/4" in height, 4" across the top and 2 7/8" across the base. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint condition. Gorgeous. Other pieces of this pattern in my store.
