The Fostoria Glass Company was built in 1887 at Fostoria, Ohio, but by 1891 had moved to Moundsville, West Virginia, where it remained until operations ceased in 1986. By the late 1930's, Fostoria was recognized as the largest producer of handmade glassware in the world.

This elegant set of 4 footed tumblers is the "Blue Wave-crest" pattern. The wave-crest blue, optic loop pattern bowl sits atop a classic #6014, clear ribbed knob stem with round base. This lovely pattern was produced from 1936-1943. The footed tumbler measures 5 5/8" in height and 3 3/8" across the top. There are no cracks, chips or repairs.
