The historic Florentine firm Richard Ginori has been synonymous with fine tableware and gift-ware since its establishment almost three centuries ago. Opened in 1735 by a Florentine marquis, Carlo Ginori, the factory and Richard Ginori brand is still known around the world for its top-quality, elegant handmade dinnerware and porcelain figurines. It predates English bone China production and is an exceptional example of Florentine creativity and artistry.
This gorgeous Ginori dresser tray, circa 1920, is hand painted by the BT Co. Studio with shaded blue and white forget-me-not blossoms nestled among shaded olive green and purple foliage against a mottled background of pastel blue, pink and white with a gold border. The tray carries the artist signature " G Bari". The unique sculptured tray measures 10 3/4" in length and 7 3/4" in width. It is stamped on the on the base "Ginori Italy - BT Co. Studio Hand Painted - Ginori F - 0170/1". There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint.
