The Fostoria Glass Company was built in 1887 at Fostoria, Ohio, but by 1891 had moved to Moundsville, West Virginia, where it remained until operations ceased in 1986. By the late 1930's, Fostoria was recognized as the largest producer of handmade glassware in the world.

This elegant set of 4 etched crystal low water goblets is the "Buttercup" etched pattern #340 using the classic stem #6030. The pattern motif is an all-over delicate etched "Buttercup" floral and leaf motif. The classic stem resembles a roman pillar design. This lovely pattern was produced from 1942-1959. The low water goblet measures 6 1/4" in height and 3" across the top. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Additional items of this pattern are in my store
