In 1936 the Red Wing Union Stoneware Company changed its name to Red Wing Pottery, Inc. Some of the various items of stoneware produced by the Red Wing Potteries of Red Wing, Minnesota range from vase, plates, dinnerware, wall pockets, coolers, jugs, figures and trivets. In 1967 the Red Wing Pottery plant closed its doors.
This lovely "Modern" vase was produced during the 1950's. Overall turquoise blue exterior with white interior. Round shape gently flared to hexagonal top with ribbon zig-zag handles. The vase measures 7 3/4" in height, 3 1/4" across the top and 3" across the base. Marked on the base "1352 - Red Wing - U S A". There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint.
