This lump of salt was placed into a small dish, called by various names - open salt, salt cellar, Table salt.
This is a lovely set of 3 sterling silver individual salt spoons, circa early 1900's. Wonder embossed grape & vine pattern on both front and back of the handles with plain round bowl. The spoons measure 2 3/8" in length and are stamped "Sterling" on the back of each handle. Each spoon weighs approximately 1/10 ounce. There are no damages; nice patina.
