The Federal Glass Company was started in 1900 by George and Robert J Beatty. When the company was started, it only advertised tumblers. After a few years, they expanded to jars and bottles. By the 1940's and 1950's, they were making full tableware sets of colored pressed glass. In 1980 the company was closed.
This lovely set of 6 juice glasses in the boutonniere or ever yours pattern, circa 1960's, was created to accompany the dinnerware of the same name produced by Taylor, Smith & Taylor Pottery Company. Large cornflower blossoms and buds with aqua blue petals and vivid pink centers are nestled among medium and emerald green foliage decorate the glassware. The 4 oz juice glasses measure 3 3/4" in height and 2 1/4" across. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; glass is clear and decoration sharp.
