This is a very scarce early Chicago Cubs pinback, circa 1920's. It was an advertising piece issued to promote "Cub Shoe Polish" by means of the Chicago Cubs baseball team. The picture on the front is a Cub shining his shoes with the letters O U on the top and Shine on the bottom. The reverse reads, "A Bright Face and Shining Shoes, A Man's Best Capital. Use Cub Shoe Polish" and "Martin & Martin Litho - Chicago.
The pinback measures 1 1/2" across and is completely original, bright colors with light wear. If you are a "Cub's" and/or collect advertising vintage pinbacks, this is a must.
