Thulin Faience was formed as a limited company in 1923, succeeding previous owners of the factory which was founded in 1887. The company was dissolved in 1971 and, to the regret of many in the town, was subsequently demolished.
This lovely art deco design vase, circa 1920-1930, has two flowing handles connecting the oval top and body with the raised collar base, The matt finish is tan with medium green drip glaze with additional emerald green, high glaze surrounding the top and gently flowing down the sides.
