The Westmoreland Glass Company of Grapeville, Pennsylvania, was in business from 1890-1984.

This lovely carnival glass bowl is the "Pillar & Sunburst" pattern, circa 1915-early 1920's. The pattern was originally Westmoreland's pattern #25194 called "Elite". Shaped from the sugar mold used in the crystal line. The design is on the exterior of the bowl in amethyst crystal, the smooth interior is marigold iridescent. The bowl measures 8" across and 3" in height. There are no cracks or repairs; a small nick along the inter-rim (see photo).
