While the Imperial Glass Company of Bellaire Ohio, was first organized in 1901 by a group of local investors, it wasn't until January 1904, that the first glass was made, and not until almost five years later that the beautiful iridized glass known as carnival was created.
This lovely marigold carnival bowl is the "Hattie" pattern. First know as Imperial's #496, Hattie is an intriguing pattern that covers the entire piece, interior and exterior. The motif is a combination of geometric shapes and flowers. The bowl measures 8" across, 3 1/4" in height and 3 1/4" across the collar base. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint.
