While the Imperial Glass Company of Bellaire Ohio, was first organized in 1901 by a group of local investors, it wasn't until January 1904, that the first glass was made, and not until almost five years later that the beautiful iridized glass known as carnival was created.
This lovely marigold carnival vase is the "Ripple" pattern. One of the most often seen vases in carnival glass. The pattern was made from five different molds and ranged from 4 1/2" to 22" in height. Nice even marigold iridescence throughout. The vase measures just under 9" in height and 2 7/8" across the base. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint.
