The carnival glass of interest to most collectors is a iridized pressed glass that was produced from shortly after the turn of the century into the late 1920's. Starting in 1907, the Fenton Art Glass Company became the first company to produce this type of glass and became one of the leading producers.
This lovely marigold carnival footed rose bowl is the "Orange Tree Variant" pattern. For many years this pattern was misnamed as Fenton's Flowers. The rose bowl is decorated with orange tree blossoms around the top with a row of elongated leaves beneath and rest on three curved twig feet. The rose bowl measures 5" across the top and 4" in height with nice marigold iridescence. There are no cracks, chips or repairs.
