42 Pcs - - Noritake "Azalea" Pattern #19322 Dinnerware
The Azalea pattern was produced for the Larkin Company who gave the lovely ware away as premiums to club members and their home agents during the period of 1916 through the 1930's. The Noritake Company was registered in 1904 and the "M in wreath" mark is that of the Morimura Brothers, distributors with offices in New York. It's a beautiful pattern of pink azalea flowers with blue-gray and yellow leaves on white china with gold tracing along edges and handles. The earlier marks was the Noritake "M in wreath" with variations. Some items are marked in red and some in green. The set consists of the following: (6) Luncheon Plates 8 1/2" across; (6) Salad/Dessert Plates 7 5/8" across; (6) Bread & Butter Plates, 6 1/2" across; (6) Cups, 3 5/8" across; (6) Saucers, 5 1/2" across. Additional serving pieces are: BonBon, 6 5/8" across; Oval Open Vegetable, 10 1/2" long; Oval Open Vegetable, 9 3/8" long; Oval Platter, 11 3/4" long; Gravy Boat w/attached Underplate; Covered Sugar Bowl; Cream Pitcher; 2 Pair Individual Salt & Pepper Shakers. There are no cracks, chips, nicks or repairs on this set with the exception of an under-rim bruise on the platter and some minor wear to the gold trim on some items.
