Blake & Henderson was an exporting company from the late 1890's through early 1900's that commissioned high quality porcelain from the Limoges area of France.
This beautiful B & H Limoges cabinet plate has a gold embossed outer edge, The central motif consists of gorgeous red, yellow and pink tea roses nestled among shaded green and brown leaves with lavender and gold colored fern-like foliage as a background against the white porcelain blank. The plate is further enhanced by gold encrusted stems of delicate leaves intermixed within the roses. The plate measures 8 1/2" across and is stamped in red "Limoges - B & H - France" within a circle. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint.
