Hand painted china is beautiful and unique as it portrays the artists emotions and visions for the subject he or she is creating. This beautiful hand painted sugar shaker/muffineer, circa 1910, was created in a small home studio or professional studio environment by a very talented individual with great attention to detail and subject naturalism.
The motif is beautiful blue and white forget-me-not blossoms nestled among soft green leaves on green and brown stems with background hints of pale pink against the white porcelain blank. The slight domed top is gold encrusted. The sugar shaker/muffineer measures 4 3/4" in height, marked "Bavaria" and initialed by the artist. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint.
