Albert Weiss, who gained experience by working at Coro, founded the Weiss Company in 1942. Albert designed the jewelry and much was produced in his own factory. The factory ceased operations in 1971.
This gorgeous crescent-shaped brooch, circa 1950's, is decorated with numerous sizes of round, marquise, emerald and pear shaped, prong-set, diamond rhinestones, creating a fantastic designed Weiss brooch. The brooch measures 2 1/4" in width, 2" in length and has a safety clasp mechanism. Marked "Weiss" in an oval cartouche. Near mint condition with loads and loads of sparkle.
