A gorgeous Victorian satin glass rose bowl which shades from a rich peach at the top to creamy peach at the base and white interior. Made by one of the early American glass houses, probably Mt. Washington, circa 1890. The hand-painted floral decoration was executed in the factory studio. The bowl has a ruffled top consisting of eight ruffles with the entire circumference of the bowl decorated with large, multi-colored blossoms, blue enamel dot flowers and delicate tracery with colored enamel beads. The bowl measures 5" in height and 5 1/2" across. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Great addition to your rose bowl or satin glass collection.
