During the mid-century era of jewelry production the use of copper was in vogue and used by various manufacturers. This lovely solid copper brooch, circa 1950's, is in the design of a stylized fish. The formation reminds one of a modified boomerang, with a copper button forming an eye surrounded by a coiled copper wire that extend back and wraps around forming a fin. The brooch measures 2 5/8" in length, 1 1/2" in width and has a safely clasp mechanism. There are no manufacturer markings. Wonderful vintage condition.
