Franz Detleff Goebel and his son William founded the F & W Goebel Company in 1871, located in Rodental, Germany. This lovely porcelain figurine is a Western Meadowlark, decorated in realistic shades of yellow, black and gray. The figurine has a gloss finish which is very life-like in appearance. The figurine measures 2 1/2" in length and 2 3/4" in height. Marked with the original name label and foil label with the TMK-6 mark, circa 1979-1991, "Goebel - W. Germany". There are no cracks, chips or repairs.
