A lovely Victorian-style figurine/vase, circa 1900, portrays a lovely young peasant girl carrying a sprinkling can on her way to water her flower garden. Dressed in a knee-length dress and hat in soft earth tones of off-white, tans and antique gold. Her long blond curls protrude from under the wide brim hat, framing her gorgeous face, alluring smile and glancing blue eyes. She leans ever so slightly against a hollowed out tree stump that serves as a vase, the sprinkling can suspended from the right forearm and her left hand touching her chin as she ponders her next task.
The figurine measures 13" in height; probably Germany origin. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Very decorative piece.
