Royal Doulton has been producing porcelain ceramics and dinnerware for approximately 200 years. From a meager beginning in 1815, John Doulton, amassed one of the largest pottery and porcelain factories this world has ever known.
This lovely Royal Doulton figurine entitled "Autumn Breezes" was produced from 1939-1976. Designed by Leslie Harradine, it portrays an elegant lady attired in a long Christmas red skirt, jacket and bonnet with light gray, dark blue and dusty rose trimmings, along with dust rose blouse and long light gray gloves She is holding an ermine fur muff with her right hand while supporting her bonnet with her left hand to keep it from blowing off due to the brisk breeze.
The figurine stands 7 1/2" in height. Stamped in green with the Royal Doulton logo, "Autumn Breeze" & Rd No 835666. The "HN 1934" and decorators initials "SM" are hand script. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint. This is a wonderful Royal Doulton figurine
