This darling figurine of a Sealyham Terrier is from a series inspired by the 1927 book "Dogs of Character" by Cecil Aldin. It portrays the terrier in a seated position, glancing toward the back. The terrier, which is mostly white in color has the distinctive medium brown markings. The modeller(s) for this figurine is unknown. The terrier measures 4" in length and 2 1/8" in height. It was produced from 1938-1959 and is stamped with the company logo and "Royal Doulton - Made In England - H.N. 2508" with the decorators initial "K". There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint. Great figurine.
