During the 1940's American jewelry manufacturers used sterling silver for many of their jewelry lines. This pair of adorable pins by Coro are entitled "Heart Peace" because of form and perceived message conveyed. The open-work pins are in the shape of a heart which holds a dove and olive branch. The pins measure 1 1/4" across, 1 1/8" in length and have safety clasp mechanisms. Each are stamped "Coro - Sterling" and have the Pegasus logo, which was introduced in 1945. Excellent vintage condition with nice patina.
