Victor Primavera Sr., founded the Danecraft company, Providence, Rhode Island, is the 1940's. Danecraft is known for producing quality sterling silver and vermeil (gold metal over sterling) jewelry with designs similar to the Scandinavian silver jewelry and often inspired by nature. It is said, that the Danecraft sterling silver jewelry produced, was some of the best manufactured in terms of quality of design and craftsmanship the industry had to offer during post-war decades.
This beautiful "roses & leaves" bracelet, circa 1950's, consist of exquisitely designed links of individual rose blossoms and groups of two connected leaves. The bracelet consists of seven alternating links joined together by a tab connector. The piece measures 7 1/4" in length and 7/8" in width. The fold-over clasp is stamped "Danecraft R Sterling" and the bracelet also has it's original foil hang-tag marked "Danecraft Sterling" and "Original Primavera Creations". There are no condition issues, near mint condition and probably never worn. It's time to be enjoyed.
