This gorgeous sterling silver and onyx cuff bracelet is an excellent example of Mexican craftsmanship, circa 1980. The gracefully shaped cuff band is adorned with a large, slightly rectangular shaped onyx slab measuring one inch in length. The bracelet has an inside measurement of 7 1/2" with some additional flexibility. The cuff band measures 5/16" to 3/4" in width and the piece is stamped "Mexico - 925 - TB-21". Wonderful vintage condition.

Circa 1979 a new letter/number mark to indicate the silversmith and sterling standard was introduced in Mexico. The first letter indicates the city/area location "T". The second letter is the first initial of the last name of the silversmith (B). The last number(s) indicates that he is the 21st silversmith with a last name beginning with that letter to register at the city assay office
