Hand painted china is so beautiful no matter if executed in a factory decorating department, professional studio or home studio environment. The quality of the finished product is what really counts.
This beautiful hand painted cabinet plate was executed on a porcelain blank by 'M. W. Poole',a well-known Midwest, home-studio, porcelain decorator from Moline, Illinois, circa 1915. The motif is stems of white daisy blossoms with yellow/brown centers nestled among shaded green leaves on long delicate stems. The primarily white background has hints of green/gray, pale blue and apricot with a gold edge. The plate measures 8 1/4" across, stamped in green "UNO - Favorite - Bavaria" and signed "Poole" on the front. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Lovely plate by a great artist.
