This is a beautiful Bohemian glass, hand blown, ruby stained and frosted, covered powder jar, circa 1880-1900. The jar is decorated with a continuous scene of ruby vines, leaves and a song bird, highlighted with gilt against a frosted background. The borders and spear-shaped finial is solid ruby. The covered powder jar measures 6" in height to the tip of the stopper. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; minor wear to the gilt and staining. Matching cologne/scent bottle is listed separately.
