Victorian Style Figural Bisque Vase - Young Girl Peeking Through Drapery - Playing Theater - image 1 of 6

A lovely Victorian-style figurine vase, circa 1910, portrays a darling young girl wearing a wide-rimmed pink bonnet as she peeks through a set of window draperies. She undoubtedly is playing theater and as a star performer is checking to see if the audience has arrived. Her bright smiling face with golden bangs will melt your heart. The pastel blue drapery is hung from a gold wooden rod and extends to the floor. I am not sure if the girl has forgotten her slippers, but little bare feet are protruding from under the drapery.

The vase measures 5 3/4" in height and is unmarked as to maker, but probably Germany origin. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Very decorative piece that will make you smile.
