A lovely satin glass rose bowl which shades from a rich yellow at the top to creamy yellow at the base and white interior. Made by one of the early American glass houses, probably Mt. Washington, circa 1890. The hand-painted floral decoration was executed in the factory studio. The bowl has a ruffled top consisting of eight ruffles with the entire circumference of the bowl decorated with delicate white daisies with leaves and sprigs of buds in a soft orange enamel. The bowl measures 5" in height and 5 1/2" across. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Great addition to your rose bowl or satin glass collection.
