This is a lovely contemporary porcelain vase/planter, circa 1980, that was expertly executed in a small home-studio environment. The porcelain blank has embossed scrolls and flowers in addition to the hand decorating. One side displays a scene of lovely pastel pink wild roses and soft green leaves; the other side displays a quaint rural scene of several white buildings, trees, a meandering blue stream and a branch of rose blossoms, while he ends have sprigs of wild roses. The embossed flowers on the piece are painted a soft pink with yellow centers and the base and rim is decorated with gold. The blank is unmarked as to the maker; the piece is unsigned by the artist.
The vase/planter measures 6 1/2" in length, 4" in width and 4 3/4" in height. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Lovely and very usable.
