This wonderful flow blue child's mug, circa 1900, is apply called the Wagon Wheel pattern. Wide cobalt blue spokes extend vertically along the sides of the mug. The spokes and edge of both pieces are outlined with a copper lustre band. Between the spokes against the bluish-white background is a deep red sprig design. The mug measures 3" across and 2 3/4" in height and is unmarked as to the maker. The pattern matches a cup and saucer in my store that was made by Charles Allerton & Sons. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint.
