Set of 6 Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver "Wave Edge" Pattern Teaspoons - image 1 of 8

By every measure — design, craftsmanship, purity and value — Tiffany sterling silver flatware is the ideal choice for brides and connoisseurs around the world. In 1847, Tiffany & Co. introduced its first sterling silver flatware pattern. Since then exclusive designs have come to span the history of decorative art, ranging from richly detailed classical motifs to elegant contemporary geometrics. Tiffany flatware is heavier than ordinary sterling and the design is on both the front and back. Every piece of Tiffany silver is hand-finished, assuring the warm glow and subtle detailing for Tiffany sterling is known.

This lovely set of 6 teaspoons, circa 1940-1950 is the 'Wave Edge' pattern, designed by Charles Grosjean, introduced in 1884 and continued in production until 1955. The pattern is an oceanic motif featuring sea shells and water plant designs on the handles. The spoon measures 6 1/8" in length and the set of 6 weighs 6.645 ounces. They are stamped "Tiffany & Co. - Sterling - Pat. 1884". The condition is very good with a monogram of 'FKL' in script and light patina.
