World's Fairs have always supplied a multitude of souvenir items. This clothes brush from the 1939-40 World's Fair in New York is as useful today as it was seventy-five years ago. The brush with wooden handle is enclosed in a leather case with a shoe polishing pad on the interior. The case is marked on the front "Genuine Cowhide", "New York World's Fair", and "N Y W F - copyright insignia - 540" with a replica of the trylon and perisphere, 'Theme Center' of the fair. The case measures 5 1/2" in length, including the handle, and 3 1/2" inches in width at the base. Wonderful vintage condition with slight usage.
