This lovely rectangular relish dish, circa 1910, is decorated with forget-me-not blossoms in shades of pastel to medium blue and white flowers accented by soft green leaves and floating blue petals. The wide soft blue border is separated from the creamy center by a band of delicate gold scrolls. The rim and decorative cut-in handles are heavily decorated with gold. The quality and appearance of the decoration could be that of the Luken or Stouffer Studios, both noted for this type of decoration, but unfortunately I could not locate a signature. The relish measures 8 1/2" in length, 4" in width and 1 1/4" in depth. The piece is stamped very faintly and I am unable decipher the marking. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint condition.
